These pictures are wonderful and worth a look even if your greyhound wasn't running! Mark has done a brilliant job. I am sooo pleased with the pictures of Macca. Thanks, Mark :-)

We have no put the photos from the running session on our website. The photos are under PB RGT dog show, in a sub folder called running session. There will be a file number with each photo. Let us know which are your pictures under contact, along with your email address and contact etc, and we'll email them to you. The pictures on the website have been shrunk to a very small file size. We will send you high resolution photos. The website address is mgnphotography.co.uk

So sad to hear three more beautiful Greyhounds are no longer with us, sending lots of love to the owners of Frankie,
Honey and Georgia. xxxx

I totally agree Jill! Our first introduction to beautiful Greyhounds was at one of the roadshows. After my initial reluctance at such BIG dogs, I began to actively seek out roadshows and remember speaking to Paul and Jill at length. It's ironic that they were eventually our home-checkers! Now, I want to be able to give something back to the people and organisation who have introduced me to my precious boy Gent and pocket rocket Emily (ooh, little heart squeeze and lump in throat) and we love talking to people at the very roadshows that we first visited. The Greys at Daybreaks are indeed very lucky to be looked after and loved by such wonderful people, who give their time freely and without question, until an equally wonderful person decides to take them into their hearts and their homes. You are all so amazing and I'm blessed to be able to say that some of you have become very good friends - not bad considering we just stopped to stroke a couple of dogs in Mell Square! Love to you all. Mand x

Yes the running is on Sunday 13 May between 2pm and 3pm.
No need to book, just turn up. Make sure your dog has not eaten at least an hour before running. Dogs run on gallops one at a time. Small donations collected to help retiring dogs from kennels on this site. Sally

Thank goodness the downs are always out weighed by the ups. Every grey that steps over the threshold at Daybreaks are very lucky, they are the reason we do what we do, standing in the rain at roadshows, talking to various groups and doing what we can to help at the kennels, there is no greater feeling than seeing our beautiful dogs going to loving forever homes. Ruth you are amazing, never forget that.

I have had a day of very sad news hearing of the passing of Frankie, Honey and Georgia. My thoughts and love go to all those who loved and knew these precious greys.
Honey stands mostly in my mind - a little grey who I nursed after a problem with her spey one Christmas many years ago where we nearly lost her - hence I take every post op girl home now..... a few tears have been shed......
On a positive note, we are homing really well and the lovely family adopting Grace and Monty came up today to sign the paperwork prior to their adoption on Saturday (they know how busy we get at weekends!) and a reservation finally for Hesky - YAYYYYY and Eagle :-) The downs are outweighed by the ups and this is what keeps me going xxxx

Looking forward to bringing our greyhound Smokey who we have never been able to let off the lead for the 2years we have had him, so i think he would really appreciate this!!

Hi JimBobsMom
The free running is a long straight 'gallop'. The idea is that someone walks or jogs the dog/dogs to the far end then someone (usually the owner) waits at the top and jumps up and down, waves arms in the air and calls the dog in a way over the top manner to encourage it to come belting up the run! It's great fun for owner and dog and you can socialise while waiting your turn. Highly recommmend it.

Brilliant pictures, I will use the ones of Parker to publicise the 10K charity race I am doing to raise funds for Daybreak :)
