Updated: Wednesday 27 May
St.Margaret’s Church & School have invited the RGT to attend their annual Garden Party on Saturday 27th June, 2pm 'til 5pm at St.Margaret’s School field, Richmond Rodd, Olton, Solihull, B92 7RR. This is always a fun packed event with plenty of activities for young and old alike. To name but a few, there will be live music, a BBQ, refreshments, tug-of-war, races, crafts, a magician, and a stalls with books, plants and much more for sale. Admission is just 50p for adults and children go free. Emma and Dave Bryce with their team of volunteers and greys will be on hand to answer any questions you may have if you are thinking about adopting a greyhound. Please come along to have a fabulous time whilst also supporting the RGT and the local community! As always, we are restricted to the number of greyhounds we can have at our roadshows and the pre-arranged greys that are here are covered by our insurance. Please can we ask you not to bring your own grey along if you are intending to visit us. Our Daybreaks kennels of Solihull are only a couple of miles away on the A45 near Birmingham Airport so why not come along and see the greyhounds available for rehoming. Here at the RGT, we pride ourselves on our after care service. We have a dedicated team of experienced volunteers who will be at the end of a phone for advice whilst your greyhound settles in to its new home. For more details telephone Emma on 07950 200198.

How lucky were we with the weather today? Some of the dogs (including Kev) had to go home a little early because of the thunder, but we managed to pack up and clear off before it started chucking it down!
The impeccably behaved dogs who attended (Tye, Ellie, Bobby, Rocky and my two Kevin and Sadie) were a credit to their owners and the RGT - well done!
